Sew a compact diy needle book that's perfect for keeping your hand sewing needles all in one place. And ohh the cuteness factor!
This handy little diy needlebook not only looks great but also comes in handy. Travel size? You bet! There is also a slip pocket on the inside for embroidery floss or thread, or to store those adorable mini embroidery scissors. It would make a gorgeous little gift for someone special, or a great treat for yourself.

Do you love foundation paper piecing but find yourself only making one or two small patterns occasionally? Yet, once you start sewing through paper, your needle won’t glide through fabrics, especially finely woven fabrics, like it used to. Instead, make this cute Matchbook Needle Case to store your paper needle and use it again for your next small FPP
If you just made one or two small Foundation Paper Piecing projects, save the sewing machine needle you used for FPP in this cute little paper matchbook so that you can use a sharp needle for regular sewing but reuse your FPP needle for your next small FPP project.
You can position your sheets right on top of the inside of your case and just sew right down the middle if you want. This is very easy to do but leaves stitch marks on the outside of your needlecase design.
I decided to fold my sheets in half and sew the folded middle to the inside of the front cover down the middle using a simple whip stitch.
Bonus tip: For even quilting lines, you can either use a guide (mine came with the walking foot) or mark lines using a disappearing ink fabric marker. Draw a starting line in the center, top-to-bottom. Also, make sure to always start your lines on top and sew towards the bottom.
