These crochet washcloth patterns use subtly textured stitches. That makes them great items for washing your body or face gently.
These crochet washcloths are not just plain squares. They have little extra touches that make them great little projects.
You can add a little loop on the corner to be able to hang them up in the bathroom. This will make them dry quicker and easier.
You can also embellish them with a fancy border. How about adding a cute little flower in the corner to make them extra special.
I am kicking of this crochet washcloth collection with a collection! That is right, you get six different washcloth patterns all in one place.
They are all great little quick projects. Each one uses a different stitch. This is great for practising new stitches and making something useful at the same time.
The patterns use a range of stitches from extended single crochet, herringbone half double crochet and linked half double crochet. All great stitches to have in your repertoire and practise them.

This beautiful textured crochet washcloth is aimed at men. And why not? I think it would be a great gift for them. Besides hats and scarves, there are not many items fit for the purpose.
The pattern uses basic half double crochet stitch. However, you alternate working this easy stitch through front and back loops. This creates a stunning texture that is great for a crochet washcloth.

pull through all 3 loops on the hook finishing off the first petit pois stitch then pull up a loop through the same chain (third chain from the hook)
pull up a loop through the next chain, yarn over and pull through all three loops on the hook
continue to the end of the row
To start the next row, chain 2, pull up a loop in the first stitch and then in the next stitch
