Oh, hi! Marisa here. I started Afterglow Interiors to be able to pursue my passion for home staging and design. I have always loved to browse furniture for fun, check out the newest Zillow listings and help family and friends with their home makeovers. Building a life AND job you don't need a vacation from is a dream come true. I can't wait to create new designs and form genuine relationships with clients.

Although professional staging is a relatively new industry, people have been "fixing up" their homes to sell for decades. These days due to HGTV home buyers have an "expectation" and are willing to pay quite a bit more for a home that is "model home" looking.

What is home staging?

Home Staging is the preparation of a home to sell by a professional who specializes in this form of design and has been certified and trained on the art of home staging. Many definitions you have seen no doubt stop after the word “sell” and that is part of the big misconception and devaluation of home staging. A professional home stager has the resources and can objectively view the home as a product and highlight its assets while downplaying its flaws. The home seller cannot view their home objectively, while many successful Realtors do not have the time or trade resources to properly stage a home.

Our Services

At Afterglow Interiors, we offer a range of services to meet your home staging needs. We provide vacant home staging consultations, vacant partial and full-service staging and owner occupied consultations.

Our speciality is being able to tailor a design to each home as "one stage does not fit all." From modern to bohemian, mid-century, modern farmhouse, minimalist, to mountain chic the list goes on of the styles we can create to inspire and appeal to the largest pool of buyers.

Services to Fit Every Need

We specialize in using what you already have to transform your home into what a buyer is looking for (home staging), or a space that perfectly reflects your family’s style, needs and comfort (redesign). We offer professional home staging services in the Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Denver Metropolitan Area, Superior and surrounding areas.

DIY Show and Sell $250 - 2 hrs.

In this intensive and fun two-hour consultation, we will be using a detailed Staging Report/Checklist to write down everything that needs to be done to get the home the best price possible!

• We start with a phone interview, so I can research your buyer demographic and prepare for our Consultation time
• Using a photo-filled, detailed staging checklist we walk through the home and discuss optimal, BIG return-on-investment, staging strategies that are designed to have big, emotional impact on your buyers
• The detailed report also includes my essential "Open House Checklist" and "Closet Organization Checklist"

Power Staging $500 - 4 hrs.

• We will make HUGE transformations using what you have to make the most of each space!
• I will bring in gorgeous staging accessories in order to give you a visual shopping list and get higher impact photos
• We will work for up to 4 hours in the home, as well as photograph the transformations as we go

Ultimate Power Staging $700 - 6 hrs.

Do you have a larger home (over 2000 square feet) that could use more than a few hours of work? No problem!

• We will make HUGE transformations using what you have to make the most of each space!
• I will bring in gorgeous staging accessories in order to give you a visual shopping list and get higher impact photos
• We will work for up to 7 hours in the home, as well as photograph the transformations as we go

Home must be prepped and cleaned prior to stager arriving
(Up to seven hours in the home with any additional hours reverting to a $100 hourly rate)

Power Shopping $75 per hr.

We'll create a budget and shop for those accessories that add the WOW factor to your home.
