Step 3: Assemble the Quilt

Lay out all your completed blocks according to the quilt diagram, taking the time to make any adjustments to the layout.

Start sewing the rows together one by one. Pressing each row well.

When rows are complete, sew the top three rows together and press. Sew the bottom three rows together, press, then sew the two halves together.

Since this version of the basketweave quilt pattern uses four strips per block, the assembly, and block size is just a tiny bit different. I will detail the changes here. (Be sure to check out the original Basket Weave Quilt pattern for more details.)

• The finished quilt with a 2-inch border is 51.25″ x 60.5″
