Toilet Paper Roll Narwhal Craft

Paper Plate Crafts for Kids

  1. Draw a circle on a paper plate using something that is round, such as a can.
  2. Cut out the circle and make a hole in the center with a scissor.
  3. Use a blue thread and a thick needle and weave the thread through the hole and around the outer circle until the entire circle is covered with thread.
  4. Draw a tail fin on the paper plate and cut out.
  5. Attach the tail fin with tape or sew it on.
  6. Sew an eye.
  7. Cut out a small mouth from the paper plate and glue it on the whale.

  1. The whale is made of three different parts. Draw these parts on a paper plate and cut out.
  2. Paint the belly and the tail fin black, but paint the water that sprays out of the blowhole blue.
  3. Make two holes in the belly part with a knife or a scissor, one for the tail fin and one for the blowhole.
  4. Sew or glue an eye onto the whale.
  5. Attach the parts to the belly and pull them back and forth.

Whale Craft #3 (My son created this one!)

  1. Draw a whale with one eye on a paper plate.
  2. Sew by hand along the lines with a thick needle.
  3. Cut out the whale.
